GTC Wettbewerb Oktober

Beitrag von ik2rmz » 24 Aug 2015, 19:17

Liebe Contest Op,

Rhodes, 22 August 2015

5th Greek Telegraphy Club (G.T.C.) CW Cup

Aim of the contest:
To work members of the Greek Telegraphy Club (G.T.C.) in CW mode
and to promote CW mode to the Radio Amateur community

Contest Period:
Saturday, 3 October 2015 - 12:00UTC until Sunday, 4 October 2015 - 12:00UTC

Exclusively CW (A1A)
Operating frequencies: 80m (3.520Mhz – 3.530Mhz)
40m (7.020Mhz – 7.030Mhz)
20m (14.030Mhz – 14.060Mhz)
15m (21.030Mhz – 21.060Mhz)
10m (28.030Mhz – 28.060Mhz)
The above working bandwidths are recommended by the G.T.C. ,
but all CW QSOs in accordance with the official band plans for
each country will be considered valid

A. SOAB (Single Operator, All Bands, regardless of power output
to the antenna input)

B. SOAB/QRP (Single Operator, All Bands, power output to the
antenna input limited to 5W PEP). Stations participating in this
category are obliged to send /QRP or /p after their callsign
(e.g. SV5DKL/QRP or SV5DKL/ p). In different case, their logs
will be automatically transferred to category A.

G.T.C. Members: RST + GTC + 3-digit member number
(e.g. for QSO of G.T.C. member nr. 28 the
sent report should be 599 GTC 028)
Non-members : RST + ΝΜ (Non-Member)
QSO Points: QSOs with SZ1SV or SVx/SZ1SV : 100 points
QSOs with G.T.C. members : 10 points
QSOs with non-G.T.C. members : 5 points
Multipliers: Each QSO with a different G.T.C. member per band
counts for one (1) multiplier.

For instance, if you work the same G.T.C. member in three (3)
different bands, then this counts for three (3) multipliers

Who to work:
Everyone may work everyone, but just once per each
band. Participating members of the G.T.C. should take part under
their own callsign and not under any special callsign. A G.T.C.
special club station will be on-air during the event, under the
callsign SZ1SV and member number G.T.C. 1000. SZ1SV special
club station will be activated circularly from several regions
of Greek territory. During the operation from Attica region,
the station will sign SZ1SV . During the operations from any
other Greek region, the station will sign SVx/SZ1SV , where x =
the number of the respective Greek region. Working SZ1SV and any
(or all) SVx/SZ1SV stations on a given band, counts only once
as a G.T.C. member multiplier, but the points from each contact
will be added to the sum of QSO points gained in this band. For
example, a participant makes the following QSOs: On 20m with SZ1SV
, SV2/SZ1SV , SV5DKL and on 40m with SZ1SV , SV9/ SZ1SV , SV4/
SZ1SV and DL0MF. The points and multipliers gained per band are:
for 20m, 100 + 100 + 10 = 210 points and 2 multipliers, and for
40m, 100 + 100 + 100 + 5 = 305 points and 1 multiplier.

Total Score: The total score is calculated by the sum of QSO points
(as described above) multiplied by the multiplier total

Log submission:
Electronic logs of your participation should be e-mailed at
latest by 30 October 2015 to the European Communications Manager
of G.T.C. , Stathis Maliakis - SV5DKL to the following e-mail
address: At the <Subject:> field of your
e-mail you must write the callsign used as well as the category
of participation (Α / Β). For instance, SV5DKL - Category A
Valid logs will be considered those that will have been received
up to the above mentioned date and that will be fully completed
(the logs should contain at least the following data for each
QSO: Date, UTC, Callsign, Band, Mode, RST sent, Member No. sent,
RST received, Member No. received). QSOs that will not be
verified during the cross-checking process from the submitted
logs of the two correspondents, will not be counted towards
the final score of the participant’s log. For that reason,
all participants are encouraged to submit their participation
logs in time, even if they have made a small number of QSOs.
You are encouraged to use software by 9A5K, which you
may download freely, from the respective page of G.T.C. web site:
( , where you
will also find installation and configuration instructions. Also,
logs of the following formats will be accepted: ADIF, Cabrillo ,
.csv , .xls , .txt , .dat (dBase) , .wl (Writelog for Windows).
Hand-written logs are not going to be accepted. All submitted
logs must clearly mention the details of the participating
station (Callsign, Name/Surname of the station's licensee and
postal address) as well as the following sentence: ΄΄I hereby
state responsibly that my participation to the 5th G.T.C. CW
Cup is fully complied with the rules and conditions set by the
G.T.C. CW Cup committee and with the permissions and restrictions
defined for my station's radio amateur license. Furthermore, I
will wholeheartedly accept the results and decisions of the 5th
G.T.C. CW Cup Committee" Regardless of the scores stated in the
submitted logs, the GTC CW Cup Contest Committee will recalculate
the scores of every submitted log, after removal of QSOs that will
not be verified during the cross-checking process. All submitted
logs will be freely available at G.T.C.'s official web site: during the
first fortnight of November 2015

The official results of the 5th G.T.C. CW Cup will be published
during the Greek Hamfest 2016 which will be possibly held in
the first weekend of June 2016 The results and decisions of
the G.T.C. CW Cup Committee are final and no objections will
be considered
